PubS01Ep01. My One-Month Work Diary

All job seekers preparing for employment likely have their own criteria for choosing a company. As someone new to the job market, I found it challenging to establish clear criteria, so I researched extensively to compile my thoughts.

Before Employment :
“Which Company Should I Choose?”

Here are the criteria I ultimately settled on.

1. 1. Separation of design and publishing tasks.
2. 2. Future-oriented development culture.
3. 3. Access to experienced mentors for technical guidance.
4. 4. Involvement in diverse project types.
5. 5. Avoidance of solutions like Cafe24, GNU Board, etc.
6. 6. Convenient transportation conditions.

The company that met these criteria and appealed to me the most became my current workplace. As I write this diary entry, I've already been here for six months.

After Employment :
“Half Expectation, Half Apprehension”

On my first day at work, I left home early with excitement. (It's a secret that I arrived almost an hour early and took a stroll around!)

The morning was spent setting up accounts, connecting Git, and installing various tools. In the afternoon, I browsed project codes on GitLab, igniting my motivation to learn, and left promptly at 6 PM.

On the second day of work, the new employee's project began. #Let’s go

In the sea of information, my first month on the job was a battle against a vast amount of unfamiliar terminology!

It felt overwhelming to grasp and remember so much information. Eventually, I found comfort in referencing the work guidelines my teammates had prepared, organizing my tasks accordingly. Continuously consulting them allowed me to adapt and proceed comfortably.
